Connect an AI agent
Create a key so Claude, Cursor or another MCP client can work in Prospero, and revoke it when you are done.
An agent such as Claude Code connects to Prospero through MCP with a key. The key decides what the agent may do. Only the organization owner can create and revoke keys.
Create a key
Open Settings, then select AI agents under Integrations.
Find Agent access and select Create key.
Enter a Name that says where the key will live, such as the agent and the computer.
Pick its Access. Every key can read. Pick the narrowest write access the agent needs, for example Read, and edit leads for an agent that cleans a market.
Select Create key.
Copy the key, or copy the Connect from Claude Code line, which already holds it. Prospero shows the key once. Select Done when it is saved.
Paste the connect line into a terminal to add Prospero to Claude Code. Another MCP client takes the MCP endpoint shown on the card and the key as a bearer token.
Access levels
| Access | What the agent can do |
|---|---|
| Read only | Read and count leads, markets and routes |
| Read, and edit leads | Read, and clean, update and merge leads |
| Read, and edit markets | Read, and set up markets |
| Read, and edit eligibility rules | Read, and change which venues count as eligible |
| Read, and edit pipeline limits | Read, and change how much a pipeline run may spend |
| Read, and change CRM records | Read, and change records in your connected CRM |
| Read and write | Read, and make changes, except the owner-only settings |
| Admin, everything the owner can do | Every action, including the owner's settings |
An agent never does more than the person who created its key. If that person leaves the organization, the key stops working.
Revoke a key
Each key in the list shows its access, who created it, when, and when it was last used. Select Revoke and confirm. Any agent using the key loses access at once.
Never paste a key into visit notes, lead notes, or a support screenshot. If one is exposed, revoke it and create another.
